Fee Waiver for Military Spouses of Active-Duty Service-Members

As of July 1, 2024, spouses of active-duty service-members who reside or plan to reside in Kansas due to their assigned military station or their spouse’s military station, are exempt from fees assessed by state licensing bodies to obtain or renew occupational credentials (2024 HB 2745). If you meet this criteria, please complete the Fee Waiver Request Form for Active-Duty Service-Members at https://www.ksbsrb.ks.gov/forms/-folder-19 and submit it with your application materials. Note: Previous fees are not waived.

*For the purposes of this waiver, active-duty military personnel are defined as any active member of any branch of the United States armed services, United States military reserves, or national guard.

Other Payments to the BSRB

Individuals wishing to submit payments to the BSRB using a credit card or electronic check should enter the state of Kansas Payment Portal by clicking the link below. For use of the secure payment platform, the state of Kansas charges a 2.5 percent processing fee for credit card payments or a $1.50 flat fee for use of an electronic check. After completing payment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to confirm your payment.

BSRB Payment Portal

Note: Individuals wishing to submit payments to the BSRB office using a check-by-mail or with a money order may continue to mail payments to the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, 700 SW Harrison St., Ste. 420, Topeka, KS 66603. There is no additional fee for processing checks-by-mail or money orders sent to the BSRB office. Applications and Licenses will not be processed until fees has been received.
